A role-model

I decided to look for Mrs Diya after reading an article about her school sometime in 2010 (I was a young lady just starting out as a sch owner) and as I was greatly inspired, I sought her out.
She received me as if she knew me from yester years, not minding the fact I was just as old as one of her kids. She counseled me.
Months later, she came looking for me in my own school somewhere on Lagos/Ibadan expressway. I was awed!
It was with rude shock that I saw her obituary in the papers, I couldn't help screaming.
My greatest joy is that I met her and even in death, she continues to be a role-model as I am still using those counsels she gave me that day in her office as I stared at the many laurels in her cabinet (No PTA meetings; maintain an open door policy where all parents can reach you, outsource school bus services, never borrow from the bank; accumulate your savings and use for your projects e.t.c
Ma, you live on because you affected lives.
